Celebrating 50 years of DaklaPack

This is how it all started

DaklaPack began in 1975 as MiniGrip Netherlands, a small division of a larger company. When the original patent for its core product expired, competition increased - driving the company to expand its range with promotional bags, courier envelopes, and medical packaging. The Polymed pouch, developed for the safe transport of diagnostic samples, contributed to the first population screening program in the Netherlands and is still widely used.

As demand for packaging grew, so did the team. We relocated our headquarters to Lelystad in 2006 and began expanding with offices in other countries and by offering additional services. This period marked a shift from product to solution. The growing focus on healthcare, compliance, innovation, and sustainability shaped the full-service model that, supported by expert knowledge and experience, defines the way we support our clients every single day.
